Escaped Water Damage
Escaped water damage predominantly means damaged caused by leaking or burst pipes. D.O.H Construction has undertaken work of this nature for many years, and currently handles between 40 and 50 of these claims each month on behalf of the UK's largest insurance company. Rectifying escaped water damage is often more sensitive than other damage repairs, as it is often carried out while the client is still living in the property. Therefore we understand the measures required to keep disruption to an absolute minimum.
Subsidence can be caused by many different factors, including: leaking drains, tree roots and ground shrinkage. When it is detected a structural engineer is normally appointed by the property owner's insurance company to access and monitor the subsidence. After diagnosis, the engineer will prepare a schedule of repair work so that we can rectify the problem. Again, we have extensive knowledge and experience in this area.
